Princes Edward County is located in central Virginia. The student population of 2,666 has a socioeconomic status of 60% free/reduced lunch.This population is comprised of:

Prince Edward County High School has a current enrollment of 914 students. At PECHS, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of academic and athletic activities. Prince Edward County High School Career and Technical Education Center facilitates student learning in 14 different programs. Our members, like our community, are a diversified group ethnically, and economically.

Southside Community Hospital
The goal of the presentation was to make our girls aware of the different technology that is used by executives and various medical personnel at a community hospital.
Virginia Department of Forestry
Expose the group to the career options that are available with the Virginia Department of Forestry and how those jobs encompass the use of technology. This is not a career path that most of our group has ever even thought about.
