Minnie Howard School

Minnie Howard School, for ninth grade students, is centrally located in Alexandria, VA just a few blocks away from T.C. Williams High School. The school is dedicated to Minnie Howard, Alexandria's first PTA president. Since 1993, Minnie Howard School has provided Alexandria's 9th grade students with an appropriate and effective transition from middle school to senior high school. Students are assigned to an academic team of approximately 125 students and share the same teachers for their core courses and Teacher Advisory period.
